Casa de Amistad

Casa de Amistad is a cozy seven room guest house on the island of Vieques, Puerto Rico. Let us create a vacation for you that will send you home rested, rejuvenated and restored. Certainly you will spend several days exploring the miles of white sand, clear blue water beaches... Maybe you'll play in the waves one day at Navio beach, find a quiet secluded calm beach another day, snorkel the next day, and just read and relax on the beach another day. Perhaps you want to hike or ride bikes in the undeveloped acres of land on the west side of the island (the birds and plants will amaze you). You should make time to see the many art galleries, the Fort (museum), an archeological dig, or just sit at one of the many beach side cafes and sip pina coladas... At night, you MUST experience the bioluminescent bay, wonderful restaurants, or just stay home by the pool and read that novel you've always meant to read.

Amenities
- There are a total of seven individual guestrooms. All have air conditioning and ceiling fans.
- All of the rooms have new beds and furnishings. All of the bathrooms are new.
- Towels for the rooms are included. Towels for the pool and the beach are also available (first one is free, each exchange is a $2 dryer donation.)
- A small beverage refrigerator is included in each room.
- Common areas around the lobby include, a computer with internet access, a tv room with satellite dish, and a full warming kitchen for preparing light meals and snacks.
- Snorkel gear is available for rent ($10/day). Small coolers and beach chairs are also provided for your use.
- There is free WIFI access in the cafe.
- There is no laundry facility, however, there is a laundromat one block from the guesthouse.

Location
Casa de Amistad is located in the heart of the town of Isabel Segunda, just a block from the main plaza and two blocks from the ferry terminal. We are close to EVERYTHING you may need. It is recommended to budget for an automobile at least for part of your stay, so that you can explore many of the hidden beaches and secrets of the island. Otherwise, taxis and publicos are roaming the island day and night.

Rooms
Rooms One, Four, Five, Six and Seven
have a maximum two person occupancy.

Room Two
has a suggested two person occupancy. (Two full beds in a small room)

Room Three
has a maximum four person occupancy. (Two full beds in a larger room)

Rooms One and Four
one queen bed, private bath ensuite.
Summer 2010 (June 1 - October 31) $85+9% room tax.
Winter 2010/11 (November 1 - May 31) $100.00+ 9% room tax.
(Rooms 1 and 4 are identical and we must reserve the right to assign either room to maximize our reservation opportunities.)

Room Two
two full (double) beds, private bath ensuite.
Summer 2010 (June 1 - October 31) $90+9% room tax.
Winter 2010/11 (November 1 - May 31) $100.00+ 9% room tax.
Additional $10 per person beyond two persons.

Room Three
a two room suite, two full (double) beds in the bedroom and a separate sitting room, private bath ensuite.
Summer 2010 (June 1 - October 31) $100+9% room tax.
Winter 2010/11 (November 1 - May 31) $110.00+9% room tax.
Additional $10 per person beyond two persons for a maximum four persons.

Rooms Five and Six
one queen bed, private but separate (NOT shared) bath.
Summer 2010 (June 1 - October 31) $75+9% room tax.
Winter 2010/11 (November 1 - May 31) $80.00+ 9% room tax
(Rooms 5 and 6 are identical and we must reserve the right to assign either room to maximize our reservation opportunities.)

Room Seven
one queen bed, private bath ensuite. Located on first level with private entrance, handicap accessible room.
Summer 2010 (June 1 - October 31) $85+9% room tax.
Winter 2010/11 (November 1 - May 31) $100.00+ 9% room tax.

Policies
A credit card number must accompany any reservation. Master Card, Visa personal checks or cash acceptable for reservation and payment. If you are planning to pay cash, payment must be made prior to the evening of your stay.

Cancellation Policies
Vary based on the individual reservation. Generally, there is no penalty if cancelled more than one month prior to the reservation. If cancelling within the month the penalty fee is 1/2 of the confirmed stay unless we are able to rebook the room.
